Pluralsight Course: Getting Started with DynamoDB
Quicklink: AWS Developer: Getting Started with DynamoDB
It has been a long time coming, but I’ve finally had my first course for Pluralsight published. Yaay!
The course titled, Getting Started with DynamoDB, is focused on providing a thorough introduction to DynamoDB – enough to get started using it in Production.
I’ve been lucky enough to have built a couple of systems using the AWS Service in Production over the last few years, and even though a have a few scars to show for it.
I have been keen to share my understanding of the database service, as I’ve seen many developers frustrated by the lack of flexibility it provides when coming from relational databases.
The service is incredibly powerful, and scalable, but only if you understand how to leverage it. This course will enable you to understand how to leverage it, so it doesn’t catch you off guard in production.
I strongly recommend this course for anyone who is considering using the service, or is using it in their first implementation. It covers the important areas every developer needs to understand.
